I forget what the PMS check periodicity was to run it all the way out, but it wasn't often and it was always scary. Somewhere on Tarawa, some of the ground tackle holding bits were worn out... I remember when the message on this came out. I am sure the BMC didn't take any crap in the CPO Mess, not !!!!
