That would be great! I recall so many posters vilifying him because he should have continued the mission. He identified the threat, he assessed the threat, and he fell on his sword for the crew. I tend to think if a unit is taking heavy casualties, it is time to adjust to the situation.

His sailors came before his career, not many officers can honestly say they would do that today.
