There's a lot to be said for starting the day with a Bloody Mary and never being sober enough to drive. After all on a 90 to 180 or more day deployment, how often are you going to really risk a DWI?
Bring back the Rum Ration like the Brits and other enlightened Navies do, but double or triple it and charge next to nothing for the bars in the Wardroom, CPO Mess, and Enlisted Mess deck for after working hours!
We do know a lot about stacking people in berthing spaces and who really needs to wash your hands 20 to 3o times a day as I did on my last cruise on Viking Sun? Cleanliness is overrated at sea anyway.
