It is a shame and will continue to be a shame that genocides exist in the modern world. I can not blame those who want freedom and wish them success in this endeavor. Indonesia is committing genocide in West Papua New Guinea (WPNG) but yet we give military aid to the Indonesians. My disappoint for the USG runs deep.
The formula is often similar. The Indonesian government takes land from the people of WPNG. The jungle forests are cut down and minerals are mined. Native food is becoming scarce and the Indonesians want to break their spirit. That is what we did to the Native Americans.
