The national defense establishment failed to prepare for the coronavirus — Axios

The author is an idiot. First we can not anticipate all surprise threats. Just look at all the countries with COVID-19. Second, our leaders and agencies failed to act in a properly and timely manner. We had a plan but it was not utilized.

Maybe it's time for them to rethink how they deploy our troops. This isn't the first time disease has crippled the military, but troop-health has had to play 2nd fiddle to operational readiness.
