Elderly retirees turned away from waiting at Naval Base Guam commissary

You show me that this is being done in Japan and South Korea or any other US installation in the Pacific region and I'll STFU. But if what Congressman Michael San Nicolas (D, Guam) says is true, that this exclusionary policy is being practiced only on Guam well then I'm pissed.

Guam's Congressional (non-voting) delegate sent a letter, dated March 20, said no other military installation has “policies as exclusionary as those enacted on Guam.”

He noted that Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada did implement similar restrictions but reversed them “almost immediately after affected groups become irate.”

Land confiscations, attempts to "Americanize" Chamorros and now this seriously erode the foundation of trust the Chamorros* have had for the US Military since LITERALLY saving us** from the Imperial Japanese military forces.

*Guam's indigenous inhabitants also Chamoru or for some reason CHamoru.
**I say "us" as I am a native Chamorro now in California with lots of family still there.

For those who read the article, the word Man'amko (ALT: Manåmko’) is Chamoru for "elderly".
