I can’t speak for all, but I know that one of our two level one trauma centers filled all their ICU beds and had to convert their PACU into an additional “clean” ICU.

PO3 David Fries I can understand a little bit, but that sounds strange from data available. One reason why is that the Hartford Hospital claims in one spot to have 938 beds total, but in another spot claims to have only 867 beds total; that is a discrepancy of 129 beds. And you state that there are two (2) Level I trauma centers but the city, county, and state says that there are three (3).
Here is the data that I was able to collect from a couple of sources.
Hartford County, Connecticut
Population: 891,720 (2019)
ICU Beds: 216
Coronavirus (Source - https://portal.ct.gov/coronavirus)
Confirmed: 2,370
Recovered:
Hospitalized: 369
Deaths: 153

Three (3) Level I trauma centers (Source - Hartford Courant - American Hospital Directory - respective hospital web sites):
Hartford Hospital
938 Beds/867 Beds
Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center
617 Beds/572 Beds
Connecticut Children's Medical Center
185 Beds

It is shocking to me that Wichita in Sedgwick County, Kansas with little more than half the population has more ICU beds than Hartford County, Connecticut
