MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. (2022) The Messiah is on Netflix but was apparently withheld in at least one Muslim-dominant country because it alluded to the Judeo-Christian God in some way. Whether the series is good or bad (I haven’t seen it), those who purposely shut down elements of truth from others (esp. about God) will eventually be held accountable. “Vengeance is mine, I will repay. In due time their foot will slip; their day of disaster is near and their doom rushes upon them.” (Deuteronomy 32:35)
If God did not spare His own people Israel from consequences for rebelling against Him and His ordinances, why should He spare any other people in this world who do the same? Punishment from God often seems slow coming, but come it will.
Jesus said, “I am the Truth..” John 14:6.

Well, I'm a Christian and I don't believe in Islam. But I don't propose to force my opinion on others. Nor should an Islamic group have the power to get a TV series cancelled because they don't like it. Freedom of expression and speech is one of the cornerstones of our national architecture.
That's one of our larger current national problems. People are so obsessed with their particular beliefs that they cannot tolerate anyone with a different opinion, intellectual, political, economic, etc. Anyone who expresses a view they dislike is pilloried as "an example of all that is evil", etc. If we cannot have a national dialogue across all perspectives, then what is left? Mindless violence?
