I'm still not sure that was handled right on either side of the equation. Dealing with military bureaucracy is like breeding elephants, things happen slowly, and there is a lot of uproar in the process.

SGT Steve McFarland I belive that a message had already been sent and the letter was a way to resend the message as loudly as possible.
