I hate that this happened to this CPT, but it is imperative that we practice tact. There are many incidences that service members of all ranks do not think this apply to them. At any rate, I hope this CPT and the others aboard the ship get to feeling better soon.

I don't know if "tact" is the appropriate premise we're discussing. I believe it's "protocol" that's a point of contention here. Was the protocol appropriate for discussing a ship's status? Also, chain of command wise, I'm still confused. He was the aircraft carrier commander. That, for me, means one ship. What about the other part of the "team?"

SGM Robert Murray, it was stat d that his letter “was all over the place”. However, protocal is a other factor as well. Ethics and morals always seem to clash.

As with any other person, they have protocols in place. I personally know ten (10) who have tested positive. More importantly, they are all asymptomatic. So. . .battle capable? Fit for duty?
