My wife spoke to one of her sisters last night. Most of her neighbors are adhering to the stay-at-home order as much as possible. It appears most of the known cases are in the northern part of the reservation, but not all. My in-laws live in the south.
So many Navajo live in isolated areas it is hard to track the spread of the illness.
Also, there are some that do not trust modern "Whiteman" medicine and will only rely on local shamans. Dangerous. Especially if they carry the virus to others.
We are keeping in touch, but not much we can do other than offer emotional support.
