I built that model too! Got to touch a real one many years later. Will admit that the Turks did a good job of planting many off the end of the runway.

The Turkish base that we supported flew F-104s when I was there in 1980, they were in the process of converting to F-16s but hadn't become operational by the time I left in 81.
