Troops are safer in the field during outbreak, 101st leaders say

If they plan the training correctly it could be a great time. If this was a mech unit (and assuming morale could actually go lower), you'd have a division wide divorce ceremony upon return from the field.
This is the chance to do really cool, fun, and effective training. Draw ALL the ammo, shoot missiles, throw grenades, do an impromptu CALFEX, long range marksmanship, live call for fire, let the Soldiers do what they signed up for.

I’m not surprised a single bit knowing that the 101st made that statement.
