I was inevitable. I have a feeling the Active Duty side is planning robust actions.

That is incorrect. The combatant commander of the military active duty response is a LTG. she has the responsibility of planning, coordinating, and executing missions to support the NG, states, and civil authorities. Her scope of missions is beyond NG authority. 1SG (Anonymous)

1SG (Anonymous) - There is no way the NG will tell the active duty how many helicopters, troops, ships, trucks, bases, and planes to use. It will not happen. Posse Comitatus does not prevent the Active Duty to deploy DoD assets and resources in full force. We might augment the NG but they wont have command and control over the AD. I just can't imagine 50 state NG telling the Active Duty what to accomplish. That would be a nightmare.

The NG does not have all the assets that AD has. Why are you concerned about AD generals?
