PFC(P) Victor F. According to the article they will cut 2,100 personnel and use the money for other needs. I know that Commandant General David Berger knows more about the current needs of the Marine Corps than someone that left active duty 48 years ago. I feel confident that the Marine Corps will continue to improvise, adapt, and overcome all future challenges.

It's interesting I see this and scroll down and see Marines are proposing a year maternity leave policy...

That is a 1 percent reduction in the active duty Marine Corps. Not exactly a huge cut but if we could get the rest of the federal government to cut this much that would be nice. If the 2100 cuts come mostly from REMF's and at the pentagon then it will not really impact force readiness.
