Shooting the M14: Full Auto Really Uncontrollable?

The weapon was designed to put a lot of lead downrange to keep other idiots under cover...Your shooting it like it was a semi auto by trying to zero the first and all other rounds...wrong... You know it climbs up and slightly to the right... compensate your first shot to low and left of the target....this weapon was designed to walk the rounds into the target. 3-5 round bursts and use better trigger control to ..1 conserve ammo...2. increase accuracy while in full auto... Just my opinion... your shooting a .308...same round as the linked M-60 "pig" which weighs 23 pounds and has no recoil...just a lot of vibration... The M-16 in .223 aka 5.56 dont shoot through small trees.... the M14 will... Enjoyed the show. Wish I had two or three of 'em...lol...
