Veterans are really doing no such thing. I don't know one veteran in my circle that think this guy is worth a pot to piss in or a good window to throw it out of. He doesn't like Trump's Ukraine policy and felt like weaponizing his role on the NSC. He got his just reward, reassignment. That is the way the coookie crumbles. I am sure he will ultimately retire with a full pension and VA benefits. Don't shed a tear for Alex.

Vindman looks like the kind of guy who orders some specialist to go get his lunch every day because he's too lazy to walk to the DFAC. LOL

No, we are not rallying behind this insubordinate, spotlighting chow-thief of a jackass. If he felt he was given an unlawful order, he could have addressed it through his chain of command or the IG. Instead, he talked to his brother and then worked with a CIA officer to report his claim to the President's political opponents. His actions were insubordinate, period.

He first raised the issue with NSC counsel Eisenberg. He later raised the issue with another NSC counsel from an ethics viewpoint, and that NSC counsel happened to be his brother. I've seen no evidence that he communicated with the whistleblower. In his testimony, he denied speaking to anyone about the issue outside of anyone who he would normally communicate with. I Admittedly, the committee member and Chair only creates confusion, which I believe was deliberate on the behalf of the member who it appears was trying to ask of Vindma spoke with the whistleblower. It had been made clear by the Chair that revealing the name of the whistleblower wouldn't be permitted. Vindman did testify that he didn't speak with anyone about the issue that he would not have briefed or spoken with as part of the normal course of his duties.
