I have two comments: 1. Members of the military do not get "fired", they get relieved of duty. B. People that work on the NSC serve at pleasure of the President, when your work is not up to POTUS' liking you get removed.
It seemed that a lot of his testimony was hearsay so I kind of take what he had to say with a grain of salt.

Sigh.
Vindman wasn't fired, he was released from his detail to the NSC and returned to his base assignment in the Pentagon.
Politically motivated people might wish that their hero stayed in a place where he could make more news of this sort. But reasonable people know that every officer in the military serves at the pleasure of their CIC.
This outcome is the better one for Vindman.

1000 wow that’s even less than I thought they would be able to dredge up
If need be I can find 1000 veterans that will state for the record Hillary Clinton is all right for president socialism is good for the economy
And AOC’s green new deal is the only way the earth will survive 12 years
None of that is factual or even a remote possibility but I could find 1000 veterans that would say so
As for whether disgraced army officer has to say his opinion really doesn’t hold much weight
People whose jobs and service are terminated don’t often speak well of those that terminated them
