MAJ Ken Landgren It has stops to Keep it from firing back at the ship. Radar on top of R2d2 dome aims it. I don't think it has IFF capability. It is a Weapon of Last Resort. 1800rpm but the Drum only holds 1500 rounds. So it shoots for 50 seconds or so. usually used in conjunction with Chaff and or Flares.
