Apparently the line is from a John Wayne movie. He was naive to think a 21yo these days have ever watched a John Wayne movie and would’ve gotten the reference. The movie apparently was She Wore a Yellow Ribbon. I’ve seen that movie but don’t remember the line. Just means it wasn’t memorable to me. In the end, he’s got to stop doing crap like this.

He did call her a liar. "no you haven't" I get the "lying dog-faced pony solider" reference but he stilled called her out. SMH
