I think that the President could have used better tact, than the way this came out, as interpretations seem to vary widely.

Yes, I have heard of many things here Trump has issues himself with many varieties of abuse as someone pointed out. I do not know of anything recent, although the women seem to be coming out of the woodwork to complain, now that he's the President. But all these complaints come from a time when he was a younger man, and again, I know of nothing new.

I have also said on several occasions the President usually opens his mouth to change feet, and he would be much better served often to just not make any comments at all and just keep going about his business.

We know of his deserved and recurrent abuses, of many varieties, towards women particular. He is doing to this to only protect himself as Abuse-in-Chief.

The narrower definition employed in the current version of the OVW website stems from the definition provided in the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) as it relates to disbursing funds for VAWA grant programs and does not change the VAWA as written. I agree the administration should clarify this oversight.

Iin fiscal year 2018, OVW awarded a record $467 million under VAWA. President Trump’s request for fiscal year 2019 OVW funding was the largest ever requested.
