They seem to be keeping pretty quiet about it. None of the senior command and control (C2) leaders at the C2 Summit 14 Jan mentioned mosaic warfare at all. GEN Funk (CG, TRADOC), GEN Murray (CG, AFC), LTG Wesley (CG, FCC), Gen Holmes (CC, ACC), Gen Brown (CC, PACAF), Gen O'Shaughnessy (CC, NORTHCOM), Gen Harrigian (CC, USAFE), Gen Raymond (CC, AFSPC), Lt Gen Smith (CG, MCCDC) and Lt Gen Reynolds (DCI) all had the opportunity to introduce this concept. None of them mentioned it.

CMSgt (Join to see) - Yeah, but sometimes those team meetings should be behind closed doors! I did learn an awful lot.

CMSgt (Join to see) - agree and appreciate your willingness to self-assess, SGT Kevin Hughes. It's a sign of strong maturity and depth of character. I do not participate in any other social media venue other than Rallypoint, primarily because it is possible to have civil disagreements here. Not always, but at least possible. :)

This new possible doctrine is all good and dandy, but we must remain cognizant the doctrine will not be used in a vacuum. There will be many twists and turns in a peer to peer war. The German's rolled out a superior doctrine in WWII, but they still lost the war. We must ponder the impact of Principles of War, logistics, production, attrition, and brilliant generals.

One of the Principles of War is simplicity. I think commanders who find assets important to their war fighting capabilities want their hands around the assets and train with them. The last thing we want is to conduct plug and play in the middle of a war. This poses the question, what should be organic to Combat Brigades and Divisions?
