A new film opening Friday tells the story of a long fight to right an old wrong.
In April 1966, members of the U.S. Army's Charlie Company, 2nd Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment were tasked with searching out a powerful Viet Cong battalion in Vietnam's dense jungle. Drastically outnumbered, they were soon ambushed by the enemy. It became one of the bloodiest battles of the Vietnam War.

Prior to this He had already been on 300 Rescue Missions. The account of what He did in fact are 19 lives of soldiers saved and brought up to the chopper. He continued giving first aid and help with one hand while fighting off the enemy and shooting with the other. He had been shot already 3 times and continued to help others and save lives. Those He saved never gave up fighting to get His medal upgraded to the MOH. All of them said they would not be alive today if it wasn't for Him. He lived up to the motto of the Aerospace Rescue and Recover Service, "That Others May Live"

I don't think anybody that served in Vietnam didn't know about this hero, I hope the movie really does him justice.
