A great performance by a member of the U.S. Marine Band (The President's Own). Members of this band usually have advanced musical degrees and lots of experience playing before all types of audiences. Interesting that the USMB's MGySgt chose to wear his Marine Band dress trousers (has a different trouser stripe than the usual scarlet stripe worn by all other Marines) in the blue dress uniform with a standard USMC blue dress "A" blouse - albeit with a Marine Band chevron. I would have thought that he would wear his full dress scarlet coat to stand out more.
