I expect that you have experienced the blessing of giving and receiving selfless love ebbing and flowing throughout your life since you recognized your need for salvation Morris.
I pray that you and I are spiritual mature and that are prepared to forgive those who demonstrated selfish lust disguised as love and that we repent for our own selfishness, my brother-in-Christ SCPO Morris Ramsey.
Thank YOU, dear God for YOUR sacrificial atonement for our behalf as YOU demonstrated the greatest love possible for each of us. YOUR sinless body was scourged before YOU were crucified. By YOUR grace, each one of YOUR adopted sons and daughters are completely justified in YOUR sight at the regeneration of our heart/soul from a path of death to a path of eternal life in YOUR perfect love.
I pray for widows, widowers, orphans, and any other who is longs for love and trustworthy companionship. LORD God bless each one with at least one trustworthy person with great listening skills, compassion and time to develop a lifelong friendship.
I pray for the prisoners, those in long-term recovery, those with PTSD/TBI, and those in hospice. LORD God I pray that YOU bless each one with a tangible realization of YOUR perfect love to sustain them as well as an increase in the Fruit of YOU: peace, joy, love and enduring patience.
I lift the homeless families, homeless veterans to YOU. I pray that each one in the cold areas of this nation finds a safe and secure area with steady warmth. I pray that love will abound among the homeless and that selfless love will become a life-long habit.
I pray that love for will abound in the nation’s capital as the march for life took place today. Thank you, President Donald Trump for being the first President to speak at a march for life. I pray that the love for life will radiate from the nation’s capital across this land.
I pray that adopted children and foster children will be loved selflessly and accepted into the family that has adopted or taken them in. LORD I pray that YOU stabilize the foster care system and that trustworthy foster parents will rise up and untrustworthy ones will be rooted out without hurting any child.
I pray that each one of YOUR adopted children and their loved ones sleep well Friday night.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Good morning COL Mikel Burroughs and all the rest of my RP Family. Today’s topic is one that in which much could be written. I am tempted to do that but I will only submit to you an excerpt below, from a very long article written by someone whom I believe to have an excellent view on love. May you receive a rich blessing from it. Have a blessed day today and always.

Love in the Bible: From God's Love to the Most Romantic Scriptures

Love and Forgiveness
It is impossible for people who hate each other to live together in peace. By contrast, love promotes peace because it covers or forgives the faults of others. Love does not hold on to offenses but covers them up by forgiving those who do wrong. The motive for forgiveness is love:

Hatred stirs up dissension, but love covers over all wrongs. (Proverbs 10:12)
Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends. (Proverbs 17:9)
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. (1 Peter 4:8)
Love Contrasted With Hate
In this curious proverb, a bowl of vegetables represents a simple, common meal, while steak speaks of a luxurious feast. Where love is present, the simplest of foods will do. What value is there in a sumptuous meal if hatred and ill-will are present?

A bowl of vegetables with someone you love is better than steak with someone you hate. (Proverbs 15:17)
Love God, Love Others
One of the Pharisees, a lawyer, asked Jesus, "Which is the great commandment in the Law?" Jesus' answer came from Deuteronomy 6:4-5. It can be summed up like this: "Love God with everything you are in every way possible." Then Jesus gave the next greatest commandment, "Love others in the same way you love yourself."

Jesus said to him, "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind." This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." (Matthew 22:37-39)
And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. (Colossians 3:14)
A true friend is supportive, loving at all times. That friend develops further into a brother through adversity, trials, and troubles:

A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. (Proverbs 17:17)
In some of the most striking verses of the New Testament, we are told the supreme manifestation of love: when a person voluntarily gives up his life for a friend. Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice when he laid down his life for us on the cross:

Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13)
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. (1 John 3:16)
