Let's talk about the load carriers of history and Doris Miller....

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - Beau speaks rather softly and without much emotion, but this particular topic hit home... DOris Miller was a WWII hero of the Attack on Pearl Harbor...who went above and beyond expectation and downed or destroyed numerous Japanese aircraft attacking our ships at Pearl... THis is a great honor for Doris Miller's family and all Black Americans! ...and the reason for that is that NO OTHER ENLISTED MAN HAS HAD AN AIRCRAFT CARRIER NAMED AFTER HIM... Awesome post, Chip!
