Virgin is spending multiple Billions in the United States over the next few years. He bought out Brightline in Florida and will soon have a high speed rail system connecting Tampa, Orlando Airport, Disney World, Miami and just got permission to lay track to his new Cruise Ship Terminal in Miami from the new Miami Central Station. Going to use Virgin Airlines to fly into both Miami and Orlando using his new train to connect the two. Then he just bought out the rights and is floating a $3-4 Billion Bond issue to build High Speed rail from just outside LA to Las Vegas. Again packaging it with his Airline. Signed an agreement with Amtrak so his new High Speed Rail lines appear as connecting trains and you can make reservations on Amtraks system. Potentially also use LA as a Cruise Ship stop....with side trip to Vegas over his High Speed Rail line. He is going to make a small fortune doing all this. Also has Real Estate Development rights around the major station stops as well. He isn't doing too well in the UK though.
