And rightly so.
The Iranians might have had some international sympathy when their guy Soleimani was killed, but that evaporated when some knucklehead shot two missiles into a jetliner.
I don't think it was done on purpose, but it was grossly criminal negligence.

Kind of humorous off topic discussion here but his replacements name is really General Salami.........I'm thinking how is that all that phonetically different then Soleimani? Yeah and it was the clerics idea to put the IRGC in charge of the ADA for the country, replacing the Iranian Army who had the mission before. So look what happened and whose fault it really is.

Again laughable, that regime knows this is a turning point that will take away its power and they are doing everything they can to put the blame on someone else. I especially love how they publicized arresting the individual who videoed the plane getting hit by the rocket, but not the person pushing the button.

Its also been documented that many of the government leaders are former Revolutionary Guard Commanders, so you can assume they are all on the same page to save face and nothing will actually happen to anybody, except maybe a very low level soldier that they don't give to shits about putting blame on and destroying their lives.

Good post, SSG Robert Mark Odom! Someone really screwed up quite badly by shooting two missiles into a Ukrainian Jet liner... Now the Iranian Government is scrambling to save face and they will find someone to blame and if that person or persons is Iranian of any ilk, that person or persons will be the scapegoat for this regime the world will know... In my view we have the Iranian government back peddling!
