I have no compassion for this charade. Read the whole story before commenting on my comment.
This is an individual AND family trying to game the system and elicit support for the rest of us to condone this individuals actions (the mother).
I think it is sad that this woman put her children through this.

My wife came to the US legally and is Hispanic, which by the way makes my three children Hispanic. To some, I am a rabi-blanco, but I am not rich in wealth by any means, though most if not all of my ancestors were european.
For some of you, if you want to believe that I am racist, so be it. But you can also kiss my fourth point of contact.

SSG Robert Webster - My mom was a legal immigrant From Mexico to the US who served in the US Army as a nurse during WWII and the Korean War. She applied for citizenship while serving. After getting out of the Army she was a dyed in the wool hippie, but when it came to immigration she was all about the law. She never stopped loving Mexico, but she said we must never allow the US to become a nation of people, instead of a nation of laws.

She has been deported 4 times before. Which means she has entered the country illegally 4 times. No sympathy here.

Good grief, three times? Where was he? No sympathy here. She could have applied for citizenship 30 years ago, instead of line jumping and repeatedly violated our laws. I’m not seeing the betrayal, but an opportunity to serve, by choice.
