Maj Kim Patterson - They too are "refugees" if you want to look at it that way. No human is indigenous to the Americas

Maj Kim Patterson back in 1959, my mother immigrated legally from Honduras. In 1960, she started working for United Way agency that is called the international as to the Los Angeles. She was a caseworker working at this agency that helped illegal aliens get residency and citizenship legally. She worked from caseworker up to executive director. she helped hundreds possibly thousands of illegal aliens become US citizens illegally. If they were here in the USA and they had children, it took 7 years for them to become legal residents of the USA. That's what gets me so mad about this Caravan and the Democrats along everybody in. Those who played the game and abided by the rules get ripped off by those who cross the border and come here and then don't show up for their hearings. this was my mother on the right and my grandmother on the left when she came back from studying in South America. She got her Masters Degree in Social Work studying and working in Chile, Argentina and even studied some time in Puerto Rico before coming back to her small town of San Marcos de Ocotepeque. The local soccer field was a landing strip for the DC-3 that flew her back into her small town after being gone for 6 years. This was supposed to be 1958. This is her today living comfortably in Honduras with her full-blown dementia. My family and I are going to see her again in April. my mother worked with immigration laws that were applicable at the time and she also went into immigration work for herself and finally retired from the immigration in 1987 when they passed the Immigration Reform Act which nobody pays attention to today. By working with the United Way agency and bypassing ripoff attorneys, The International Institute saved many illegal aliens thousands of dollars and only use the attorneys when they absolutely had to cut down on the expenses. @
