Are Afghan forces beating the Taliban in 2019? The Pentagon won’t say.

I suppose that depends on how you define "beating." I know that we whack between 50-100 Taliban a night, so, by sheer numbers of kills, yes, the "Afghans" are beating the Taliban. But as far as the big picture fight? Harder to say.
