This story reeks of bullshit. Timnath? This story makes the bottom of the barrel in newsworthy significance because some nobody wins some money. Does everyone not know that $250K means shit in a lawsuit like this. It ONLY means this one-stoplight town let their liability insurance company settle for an amount not one penny more than its deductible. Lawsuits like this are settled every single day. They mean nothing. Just like this one.

The more suits won and the more rotten cops we get off the streets, the better off we will be.

You can’t read very well. This suit WAS NOT won. It was a settlement. Get a Black’s Law Dictionary and look up the term. Secondly, where police are concerned, you’ve already proven to me in previous posts that you will be never satisfied with law enforcement. This specific litigation, however, still is and will always be bullshit.

This sounds like a Nuisance value settlement, a term used by claims adjusters to describe an amount of compensation they're willing to pay to make a personal injury claim go away. almost every small town in America has camera systems or is planning to get them, just because of claims like this.
