Esper to urge Trump not to intervene in cases of service members facing war crimes allegations

Hopefully Trump will forgo the attempt to pander to his base and actually listen to his military advisors. But since cadet bone spurs thinks he knows more about the military than the generals, it's hard to be optimistic. He apparently wants to completely negate the law of land warfare because we are all just killing machines unable to control ourselves and no longer responsible for our individual actions.
