If you want to post this piece then you must also be willing to recognize that the same goes for Nancy and the house side, there is legislation sent by the senate to the House that is just sitting there as well, and the people are stuck in the middle with a legislative branch that is doing almost nothing but playing politics.

I think that is satire that both parties can find amusement in. Unfortunate for those who put work in on the bills, but everyone knew what would happen to them once they got to the Senate. No doubt they hoped to attach some of them as riders on must-pass initiative like continuing resolutions and disaster aid bills. McConnell just ain't gonna play ball with that. Many of these bills were never serious attempts at law, but rather talking points for the echo chamber - sort of like the GOP used to do with repealing Obamacare bills.
Turnabout is fair play, though. New NAFTA languishes in the House, even though everyone knows that it would be beneficial.
