SN Donald Hoffman They could probably implement small Kevlar plates in the more critical areas without reducing the mobility provided by the Spider Silk. Anything that helps protect our SM's is worth the effort.

I agree, I know it should be lighter and stronger. I know a number of companies have invested heavily in the production of viable uses. Especially body armor.
