Never fired an 03A1. The 03A3 is still a tack driver. Old, a tad heavy, and not overly attractive, but still very capable.

The 03A1 looks like a rifle that I have, only mine is a Krag. Smooth flat shooting rifles for sure.

SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth - They look a little bit similar. The 1903 replaced the Krag–Jorgensen. The .30-06 is still a great round, maybe the best all-around North American cartidge.
