Trump Commits New Impeachable Offense By Ordering The Pentagon To Screw Amazon

This is all based on one person's account of what they believe the President said to Gen Mattis. There was no context, no larger transcript of the conversation, just a phrase. All we know is that the award of the contract was delayed to ensure there we no issues. Ultimately the DoD stated the following upon the award:

"The acquisition process was conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The process cleared review by the GAO and Court of Federal Claims. At the outset the competition included four different offerors. All offerors were treated fairly and evaluated consistently with the solicitation's stated evaluation criteria. Prior to the award, the department conferred with the DOD Inspector General, which informed the decision to proceed."

To believe otherwise and assuming the President actually ordered the Gen to "screw Amazon", Gen Mattis would be accountable as well, along with all the folks involved in the selection process.

Sorry, no, the President cannot and will not be impeached for the award of the JEDI contract to Microsoft. You should seriously consider the opinion source as he is listed as extreme left for bias even by fact checkers who lean left.
