Thank you, my friend SFC (Join to see) for posting the news that the body of 20-year-old USMA Cadet Kade Kurita was found last night on the West Point reservation. [I am glad that you have been promoted to SFC]
In 1980, the body of my friend Cadet Reggie Johnson was found after he slipped and fell in a swollen stream during the annual Sandhurst military stakes competition on April 11, 1980. That was 37 days before he would have graduated with our class.
Prayers for his family members and friends as they grieve.
