Another former CENTCOM general weighs in with displeasure over Trump’s Syria gambit

We have disadvantaged the Kurds and given advantage to ISIS. This is not what we want. He calls the Kurds less than angelic but does not know history. When the US massacred Native Americans and stole their lands, they were considered less than angelic as they fought for their independence.

It is funny that the administration celebrates what we had before Trump's green light with some additional land to Turkey, Syria and the insertion of Russia. The Kurds have lost at least 30% percent of the land they held. What we agreed to to stop this temporarily, Turkey has been asking for for a long time. We could have given it to them when they first proposed it without all this loss.

Erodgan is on a downward slope of losing power in the coming years so he’s trying to win the moral of his make believe Ottoman but all he did is bring more awareness to the Kurdish plight. More intell and wisdom will show that the only way towards peace is within 20 years to give the Kurds what they want “ Kurdistan “ Kurds are not going to stop.. Modernization of economics for all peoples theirtowards human and women’s rights. These backwards patriarchy govts, boys clubs etc are falling apart.

We Americans may not want to participate and if dollar crashes we won’t but Russia and China will!! Oh well !! I’m dead within 30 yrs.. but damm if I leave my children’s children unprepared for the human stupidly that keeps unfolding ..
