Surely we on RP can do better than this. TravelTrivia included Washington, DC in their list of the easiest cities in the US to navigate. Really? Are they bat guano crazy? I have navigated many cities in the US and a few outside of it. Hell, Saigon during the war was easier to get around despite the fact that I only ever found one working traffic light (that everyone ignored) a cute Vietnamese girls with pistols were riding on the back of motorscooters looking for idiot lieutenants like me to take pot shots at. San Francisco used to be easy. Park your car while there. Between BART, an extensive streetcar/bus/trackless trolley network, and those cute cable cars, there wasn't a corner of the city that you couldn't get to. (Of course, I would include SFC now inasmuch as your best routes all lead through mounds of poop.) Denver is a great alpha-numeric grid that's easier to find your way around, although it takes a while to get anywhere by bus, and it's bisected by two major highways that live in perpetual gridlock. Thus if Denver makes it on the list, it will be towards the bottom. NYC is easy enough if (IF) you exclude the boroughs. Honolulu isn't bad so long as you can understand the directions (Just take Kapiolani until you reach Piikoi... - yeah it's easy enough written down but wait until someone says it to you) Los Angeles is easy enough IF you've lived here long enough and understand the freeway system (and stay off it during rush hour which spans at least 12 of every 24 hours). Baltimore is easy and the traffic lights are timed that you can pass through the whole city without stopping for a redlight (which is good because it's hard to steal the wheels off your car so long as its moving) Now, join in.
