Perry is Energy Secretary for good reason. Texas has it's own independent Electrical Grid and is one of the largest producers of Oil and Natural Gas in the 50 states. Houston is for all practical purposes, is probably the foremost Energy city outside of OPEC, many Arab countries have leaders that fly into Houston to discuss Energy issues, production, etc. All that said, it is no surprise to me he would be discussion LNG production with the Ukraine, also no surprise he is talking about corruption as one of the key goals is to get Ukraine to be self-sufficient in Energy and it cannot reach that goal easily in the EU if it has a reputation for corruption. So none of that bothers me. Wether he talked with Ukraine about the Bidens or not........time will but I very much doubt he influenced POTUS. Trump is his own man and makes his own decisions and always has been. It is just so very out of character for him to base a call on what someone urged him to do.
