In a post on Twitter, chair Ellen Weintraub resurfaced a June memorandum stating that it is illegal for anyone running for public office to solicit help from a foreign country.

I have still “committed a crime”
Just because a Court of Criminal Law has not yet convicted me cannot change the fact that I (hypothetically) committed a crime.
Additionally the POTUS can’t possibly be Convicted of a crime, by current US Policy. Mueller’s investigations clearly showed the commission of multiple crimes worthy of charges/indictments. However it’s a technically that policy says the DOJ can’t indict a sitting President.

I have said the President should not be impeached, it should be left to the electorate to decide. Then the call memo of the President's phone call with the President of Ukraine came out and I thought it was sufficiently vague that Trump would not be impeached. Now the President has called on China on national TV to investigate the Bidens....
