You just never know what they are going to do. It's an adventure raising a hunting dog. They are a little off, but so am I. Love English Pointers, when Bailey was young, she climbed everything. It was jaw dropping, frustrating and hilarious all at the same time.

French Brittany, smallest of the pointing breeds. They have great noses and great drive, but not a large size. I'm in my 60s and hunt the edges, I don't bust brush any more and don't need a dog that can bust heavy stuff all day. Plus, in my life I've picked up about 10 tons of dog poop, and 40 pound dog is big enough, thank you.

I'm probably on my last hunter, but if I should need one more I've thought about a close working flusher like a Cocker Spaniel or a Boykin, or even a beagle. Who knows?

I have a pointing dog, a French Brittany, not a German Shorthair like in this clip. I have no idea what goes on in his head at times, I suppose the guy who owns this one would say the same.
