The whole cost analysis should include fuel prices and other miscellaneous items.

If we're being screwed on fuel prices, I have no issue with changing to more affordable locations. But what predicated this story in the first place is complete crap. Should we stop allowing TDYs to all Trump Hotel locations?

Guys...he's a multi-gazillionaire, OK? Everybody quite clearly knew that way ahead of time...I mean, what would all of us expect, ya know? I mean, if you've got it, flaunt it, ya figure? Not that I'm making light of the whole thing, and I've seen other stuff on all of that on here, the thing is, realistically, he quite clearly isn't one who's gonna go to some el-cheapo non-full-serve gas station and/or motel, one would figure, ya know? Just a light tongue-in-cheek thought for sake of humor, guys, honest, OK?

IMO, it is not the refueling. I would ask when did the crew members start staying at Trump's property and who instructed them to.

So? Once again, it's the traveler's choice, obviously with the few exceptions:
1. Base nearby and has availability
2. Location where the government has designated sites at a special rate (Ft Meade area is an example of having this)
3. Team integrity where the lead member of the team chooses
4. Hotel rate higher than per diem (unless the individual wants to pay the difference)
If I go TDY to Palm Beach and I manage to get the government rate at one of Trump's hotels, I am completely allowed to go there.

You mean by the President? No. The Air Force already concluded their review. The Airmen did nothing wrong. If they were using the hotel before he ran, why must it become an issue to you now. Are you under the impression there is a Colonel out there directing Airmen to use Trump hotels because he/she supports the President?

Maj Kevin "Mac" McLaughlin - I saw nothing to indicate they used that hotel before Trump was elected. I know they used the airport.
I don't know what or why it happened, but it certainly is unethical for Trump to allow it.
