HIS HATE HOAX DEFENSE SOMEHOW GETS STUPIDER

Jussie Smollett is not enough of a joke, his attorneys are hoping to get a lawsuit tossed by arguing the Chicago Police were too vigorous in investigating his fabricated hate crime.
The city is now suing Smollett for $130,000 for having to investigate the false police report.

PO3 (Join to see) - Yes I actually saw the news and I know what he said happened. I followed the news when it was fresh. I just havent figured out his purpose. Why would you say a vicious attack happened when it didnt? There are enough attacks happening for real, why create one? Thats the million dollar question.

Yes, stupidity sounds about right. What did he garner from this act? Even those who were sympathetic, began to distance themselves once they found out it was a hoax. Was he trying to get more money from his show? Did he know ahead of time his character would be cut and thought he would/could get a sympathy job by being attacked? So many questions were running through my head while this was happening. And now here I am pondering them again. Alas, I will not have the answers, since I dont personally know him and will never have the chance to ask and even if I did...would he be truthful with his reply?
