Funny! I know I have some ugly prescription glasses for my gas mask and flying. Never could get the courage to wear them!

I still got my 2 pairs from BCT! I still use them on occasion during my jumps because they're indestructible!

Fortunately,I was never issued any glasses back in 1965 believe it or not I wore civilian prescription glasses for my entire three year enlistment even getting a prescription change while home on leave,maybe that's why the 3.5 bazooka round in training was way off target,considering I was Infantry for my entire time in service those old civvies worked just fine.
