Why the entire SEAL Team 7 leadership team got canned

Respectfully, I haven’t overlooked any issues within ‘Army SPECOPS’. As this thread is specifically about a group of Navy SEALs, though, it’s important that we stay on topic. If you care to see my thoughts on some of the sh*t shows in the Army right now, feel free to read through any of the multiple threads on RP about Army sh*t shows.

I’m aware of the difference between incompetence and infallibility. (I didn’t state that they were the same). As you apparently missed my point, allow me to explain. People have come to believe that SEALs are infallible, thus, incapable of incompetence.

However, as they are not infallible, they are capable of incompetence. Thus, subject to the Peter Principle. Despite your assertion, “If you want to consider any group of SEALS incompetent, we strongly disagree”, there are incompetent SEALs. Just as there are incompetent plumbers. And incompetent Attorneys. Etc. Every industry has incompetent people in its ranks.
To believe otherwise lays the groundwork to people getting fired.

Sarcasm noted. However, as your experience and publicity demonstrate, those particular traits aren’t synonymous with comprehension or ability to provide points/counterpoints to logical arguments. If you defer to anything, please defer to the valid points presented.

That stated, it was my experience that any group is capable of incompetence, even folks within the SEALs. You have previously stated that you, “strongly disagree”. Having reread this entire thread, you haven’t explained why.

If you want to fall back on the standard, ‘well a lower ranking anonymous Rallypointer lacks credibility’ type of all-stop, that’s your choice. But, that simply leaves your thoughts as presented as incomplete and lacking insight.
