I was reading the USCIS policy change this morning, and like you, was appalled that this administration would that. I am drafting a letter to my Congressman, and the ACLU about this. I think that if you are service member, serving overseas, in an American base, then you are in American soil, thus your children are U.S. citizens - period! This is total bullshit!

Ok I’m going out on the limb here. I don’t usually voice my Opinion online but I can’t not do it this time.
It’s not enough we go over seas and help countries that need our help, but to say that our Children are going to suffer is to much for me to stay quiet. How dare you, I mean how dear you use our children as tools against US or ABYONE SERVING IN YOUR MILITARY MR
President. Really you want to use our American children and ponds against us and make it hard for them to get back into the country. The very people who are keeping you safe so you can build your wall. Our children give everything our Wives give everything and you have the nerve to say they are not US
Citizens if their not what are they??

Stop spending money on building a wall and spend it on our people, I drive by homeless VETS everyday no food no roof over their heads nearly a warm coat sleeping outside and some dying because they freeze to death. Are you kidding me

I saw this from
SGT Jamie Barrie: “USCIS issued a clarification to the rule later Wednesday, explaining that the new rule would only affect three categories of people: Children of non-U.S. citizens adopted by U.S. citizen government employees or service members; children of non-U.S. citizen government employees or service members who were naturalized after the child's birth; and children of U.S. citizens who do not meet residency requirements.”
