Denmark subsidizes Greenland to the tune of $500 Million annually with a population of 56,000. We don’t need another welfare state. Negotiate for natural resources.

MCPO Roger Collins - It is only a welfare state because Denmark is not exploiting it's resources or strategic position. The fact is we could save Billions if we bought it via Defense spending for base leases there as well as natural resources, greatly shorten our logistical chain to Europe, etc.

I understand that Greenland is inhabited by many indigenous peoples, therefore if he buys it they will be deported to somewhere?
