How I shall spend my last day of vacation- small acts of kindness
Vietnam Veteran Eugene “Oots” Altena, will not make his honor flight in September. Sunday, 28 July 2019, we will escort this veteran on a special day trip to the half scale Vietnam Wall in South Sioux City, Nebraska. He has his special orders and we will leave Sioux Center, Iowa at 1300 and arrive at the Siouxland Freedom Park at 1400. The South Sioux City American Legion Post #307 will conduct a Flag presentation as well as a wreath laying ceremony for one of our treasured heroes. We want him to experience his One Final Tour with Honor.
